Geography
We use Cornerstones to provide a Geography curriculum that is well sequenced, coherent and builds pupils’ knowledge and skills over time. Our curriculum provides clear expectations as to what pupils will know and be able to do at given ‘end points’ throughout each year, and does so within the context of our specific school community.
Geographical locations are not specified in the National Curriculum, so they have been chosen to provide a broad and a diverse understanding of the world.
All Geography projects are taught in the autumn and spring terms, with opportunities for our teachers to revisit any less secure concepts in the summer term.
